After applying tire wax, the tires can regain their original black color, becoming shiny and resistant to dirt. However, there are drawbacks to using tire wax: 1. It may damage the wheel rims because tire wax has a certain level of corrosiveness, and the application process covers a large area, which can harm the rims. 2. Tire wax may also seep into the wheel rims, and over time, it can dry out and accumulate, becoming thicker, which can compromise the seal between the tire and the rim, leading to lower tire pressure and affecting driving safety.
