
Gasoline engine fuel pressure ranges between 300 and 350. To test the fuel pressure of a gasoline engine, here are the methods: 1. Turn on the ignition (without starting the engine) to activate the electric fuel pump. The fuel pressure at this time should meet technical requirements, generally fluctuating around 0.3MPa. 2. Clamp the return fuel hose. The reading on the fuel pressure gauge at this point is the maximum fuel supply pressure of the pump, which should comply with the vehicle's technical requirements, typically 23 times the working pressure, i.e., 0.50.75MPa. 3. Release the hose clamp to restore static fuel pressure, remove the fuel pump relay jumper to stop the pump, and wait for 5 minutes. The reading on the fuel pressure gauge at this time is the fuel supply system's holding pressure, which should meet the vehicle's technical specifications, generally reaching around 340KPa.
