This class is for modern rear-wheel-drive V8 cars like mine, the Mustang GT, and the Challenger Scat Pack. It’s a fantastic, competitive category that allows for suspension modifications and sticky tires. If I raced a Camaro from the ‘90s or earlier, it would fall into the CAM-T class. So outside of showroom taxonomy, the Camaro has a very clear competitive home. It’s not just a street classification; on the track, its identity as a modern performance machine is officially recognized and categorized for fair competition.
