The Chinese name of Dongfeng tire is Dongfeng Tire. Dongfeng Tire is a product of Qingdao Doublestar Group, and has been used several times on military vehicles during the National Day parade. In 2005, it joined Doublestar Group, becoming Doublestar Tire's manufacturing base mainly focused on semi-steel radial tires, and invested in expanding semi-steel radial production capacity. In 2007, it was acquired by Qingdao Doublestar Group. It is one of the earliest tire manufacturing brands in China to obtain the qualification as a military product supplier, and also one of the first large-scale tire brands to produce steel radial load tires, semi-steel radial car tires, light truck tires, and off-road military vehicle tires. Currently, it is the original equipment tire for automakers such as Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën, Great Wall Haval, Jinbei Passenger Vehicles, and Liuzhou Mini Vehicles. In March 2019, Doublestar put into operation the world's first "solid waste resource utilization" green ecological recycling factory for waste rubber in Runan. In October 2019, Doublestar Dongfeng Tire's "Industry 4.0" smart factory successfully started trial production. In January 2020, it embarked on a new journey of "tertiary entrepreneurship, creating a world-class enterprise". In July 2020, Doublestar Group completed mixed-ownership reform at the group level, successfully introducing three strategic investors—Tus-Holdings Science City Group, Qingdao West Coast New Area Fusion Holding Group, and Shandong Xincheng Hengye Group—through capital increase and share expansion combined with equity transfer. Tires are often used under complex and harsh conditions, enduring various deformations, loads, forces, and high and low temperatures while driving. Therefore, they must have high load-bearing performance, traction performance, and cushioning performance, as well as high wear resistance and flex resistance, along with relatively low rolling resistance and heat generation. They directly contact the road surface and, together with the car suspension, cushion the impact during driving, ensuring good ride comfort and smoothness, maintaining good adhesion between the wheels and the road, improving traction, braking, and off-road capability, and bearing the weight of the car. Dongfeng tire maintenance methods: Enhance awareness of tire safety and inspect tires regularly. Regularly correct wheel balance, as unbalanced wheels can cause high-frequency oscillations at high speeds, leading to uneven tire wear. Regularly rotate tires to ensure even wear. Tires should be rotated every 5,000 kilometers. In daily use of Dongfeng tires, pay attention to the following: Regularly check the tire surface for cracks, deformations, or other defects. Due to driving wear, the tread grooves gradually become shallow. If the tread is worn flat, it will lose its drainage and anti-slip functions, significantly reducing the car's performance. Small cracks can also be hidden dangers for blowouts at high speeds. Additionally, immediately remove pebbles from the grooves. Park on flat ground whenever possible. Avoid parking on roads with thick, sharp, or pointed stones. Do not park near or in contact with petroleum products, acids, or other materials that may deteriorate rubber. After parking, do not turn the steering wheel, as this accelerates tire wear. Do not pour water to cool tires. In hot weather or during high-speed driving, tires can overheat, and air pressure increases. In such cases, stop to let the tires cool naturally. Never release air to reduce pressure or pour water to cool them, as this can cause abnormal aging of the tread rubber. Avoid sudden braking.
