It determines the car's power performance, fuel economy, and environmental friendliness. Depending on the power source, car engines can be classified into diesel engines, gasoline engines, electric motors for electric vehicles, and hybrid systems, among others. Chassis Introduction: The car chassis consists of four parts: the transmission system, the running gear, the steering system, and the braking system. The chassis supports and mounts the car engine and its various components and assemblies, forming the overall shape of the car. It also receives the engine's power to generate motion, ensuring normal operation. Transmission Introduction: The transmission is divided into manual and automatic types. A manual transmission mainly consists of gears and shafts, achieving speed and torque changes through different gear combinations. An automatic transmission (AT) consists of a torque converter, planetary gears, a hydraulic torque system, and a hydraulic control system. It achieves speed and torque changes through hydraulic transmission and gear combinations. The main functions of the transmission are to change the transmission ratio; enable the car to reverse while keeping the engine rotation direction unchanged; and use neutral gear to interrupt power transmission, allowing the engine to start, idle, and facilitate gear shifting or power output.
