Whether installation conditions are met: For example, whether there is a fixed parking space, whether it can be connected to the national grid's power lines, etc. 2. Understand the power supply attributes of the residential area: If the charging station is powered by ordinary residential electricity, users need to apply to the national grid for power supply box wiring first. After approval, the national grid will arrange for staff to install the wiring. If using commercial electricity within the residential area, the process is simpler, and you can directly negotiate with the property for power supply. 3. Understand the types of charging stations: Generally, the type of charging station to be installed needs to be determined based on the installation conditions of your home charging station. Currently, home charging stations are roughly divided into wall-mounted and post-mounted types. The advantage of wall-mounted charging stations is that they save space and are cheaper, but they can only be installed on walls where wiring is possible. Although post-mounted charging stations occupy relatively more space and are more expensive, they have fewer limitations on installation locations.

The most headache-inducing part of installing a home charging pile was obtaining the fixed parking space proof. The property required original documents of either the parking space ownership certificate or a long-term lease contract, otherwise construction wouldn't be permitted. Installed three charging piles myself, too many details to watch out for. For old residential areas, it's recommended to choose a 7kw slow charging pile, as an 11kw one might burn the electric meter. Don't skimp on the cable cost, 6 square millimeter three-core copper cable is the minimum. During installation, have the technician install the distribution box higher, about 1.2 meters above the ground to prevent flooding. charging piles require a separate independent grounding, while ordinary piles can share the grounding. Try to choose the nearest electric well for the meter, as line loss will significantly increase beyond 50 meters. Remember to check the temperature of the gun head after each charging session; if it's hot, it needs maintenance.
