Motorcycle and car licenses must be merged. Here is additional information: Relevant regulations: Article 46 of the 'Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses' states that after passing the examination, applicants must receive no less than half an hour of education on traffic safety, civilized driving knowledge, and case studies of traffic accidents. Situations requiring license retrieval: The vehicle management office shall issue the motor vehicle driver's license on the day the applicant participates in the swearing-in ceremony. For those applying to increase the number of permitted driving vehicle types, the original motor vehicle driver's license must be retrieved. For those who are retired, demobilized, or resigned, the military or armed police motor vehicle driver's license must be retrieved. Requirements: Implemented according to the 'Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses' effective from April 1, 2016. Points for road traffic safety violations are deducted as 12 points, 6 points, 3 points, 2 points, and 1 point.
