Introduction to Corolla Button Functions?

The Toyota Corolla features three main types of buttons inside the car: center console buttons, door buttons, and roof buttons. Under these main buttons, there are additional smaller buttons, each with different functions. All of these buttons are operated using physical button methods. Center Console Buttons: Electronic Stability Program (ESP): Effectively prevents the vehicle from skidding or spinning out of control. It is generally not recommended for drivers to manually turn it off. Parking Radar/Image: Pressing the button activates the panoramic image and radar functions, providing alerts and visual feedback to help the driver detect surrounding obstacles. Internal/External Air Circulation: Internal circulation heats or cools the air inside the car and recirculates it, while external circulation brings in outside air. Use internal circulation in environments with heavy exhaust fumes, dust, or smog. On highways, it is advisable to periodically switch from internal to external circulation, with internal circulation not exceeding one hour. Auto Hold: At traffic lights, even if the brake pedal is released, the vehicle will not roll away. Pressing the accelerator again will allow the vehicle to continue moving forward. Auto Start-Stop: Once activated, the engine will temporarily shut off. As soon as the foot leaves the brake pedal, the engine restarts. Door Buttons: Rear Window Lock Button: Pressing this button disables the rear door window controls, which can be useful when children are seated in the back. One-Touch Window Control Switch: Enables one-touch operation for all windows in the vehicle. External Rearview Mirror Adjustment Switch: Allows adjustment of the mirror angle and folding function, catering to drivers of different heights for better rear visibility. Central Lock Button: Pressing this button locks all doors, preventing them from being opened. Pressing it again unlocks the doors. Roof Buttons: Sunroof Sliding Open: Pressing the button opens the sunroof, which can slightly open during driving to refresh the air inside the car and improve fuel efficiency. Driver and Passenger Reading Lights: Pressing the button turns on the reading light for the driver or passenger, providing illumination during nighttime driving or in dark environments. Interior Light Switch: Controls all reading lights inside the car. Welcome Light: When the car door is opened, the vehicle logo is projected under the door, and a warning light on the threshold illuminates. The light and projection turn off when the door is closed.
