As a Lingpai owner, I frequently use cruise control on highways to reduce foot fatigue, and the operation is quite simple: first start the car, accelerate to your desired speed, such as above 60km/h. Then, there's a SET button on the left control stalk of the steering wheel—press it to lock the speed. To increase speed, press the + button, and to decrease, press the - button, with each light press changing the speed by 1-2km/h. To cancel midway, lightly tap the brake or press the CANCEL button, and the system will pause immediately. To resume, press the RES button to return directly to the previously set speed. This feature should only be used in safe conditions like highways—never try it in congested city traffic, as it can easily lead to distraction and accidents. I’ve found it makes driving more effortless, but remember not to rely on it during rain or on curves—always take manual control to ensure safety.

I've been driving the Lingpai for several years and find the cruise control extremely practical. The steps are to accelerate to about 40km/h or above, then press the SET button on the steering wheel to maintain the current speed. For minor adjustments, use the +/- buttons—a light press changes the speed slightly. To cancel, simply press the brake or the CANCEL button, and the car returns to normal driving. Remember, the RES button instantly resumes the last set speed. I find it very convenient for long-distance driving, but beginners must note a few things: ensure the road isn't crowded and tire pressure is normal, otherwise the system might respond sluggishly. For long-term use, regularly check the battery to prevent button malfunctions, and avoid using it on slippery roads. If issues like speed inconsistency arise, take it to a shop for inspection—it's likely a sensor fault.

I just bought a Lingpai not long ago, and using cruise control for the first time feels so fresh! The basic operation is to accelerate the car to over 30km/h and press the SET button to lock the speed. Then the +- buttons can increase or decrease the speed, changing it bit by bit with each press. Stepping on the brake automatically cancels it, and pressing RES can restore it. After experiencing it, I feel it makes driving much easier and is totally worth it.

As a family user, the cruise control on the Lingpai is a great help when traveling with family. The method is to accelerate above 40km/h and press the SET button to lock. Use the +/- buttons to adjust speed, and lightly press the brake to cancel. The RES function conveniently resumes after interruption. It helps reduce fatigue on highways, but remember not to use it when children are noisy to avoid distraction—always keep your eyes on the road.

I'm interested in car features. The principle of the Lingpai's cruise control is that the speed sensor controls the throttle. Before use, the car must reach over 40km/h, press SET to activate the system; +/- keys to change the set value; braking will deactivate the system when canceling; RES restores the previous setting. It simplifies driving, but technically, pay attention to whether the sensor is clean to avoid false alarms.

Do New Cars Need Break-In Oil?

New cars do not require additional break-in oil during the break-in period. Here are some important considerations for new car usage: 1. Avoid overloading: Carrying excessive weight during the break-in period can damage mechanical components. Since the powertrain components haven't fully broken in yet, aggressive acceleration may cause irreversible damage. Therefore, it's essential to follow the "slow and steady" principle during break-in. 2. Speed limitations: There are speed restrictions for new cars during break-in - typically 40-70 km/h for domestic vehicles and about 100 km/h for imported cars. When fully accelerating, the speed shouldn't exceed 80% of the maximum speed. The recommended engine RPM during break-in is between 2,000-4,000 rpm.

How long does it take to pick up the car after the VIN is issued?

The time it takes to pick up the car depends on the speed of the local 4S dealership, and there is no exact time. Here is some information about the VIN: 1. Introduction: The VIN is the Vehicle Identification Number, an abbreviation of Vehicle-Identification-Number. 2. Regulations: According to SAE standards, the VIN consists of 17 characters, hence it is commonly referred to as the 17-digit code. It includes information such as the vehicle's manufacturer, year, model, body type and code, engine code, and assembly location. Correctly interpreting the VIN is crucial for owners to accurately identify the vehicle model and perform proper diagnosis and maintenance.

What Are the Reasons for Lower Car Idle Speed Than Before?

Car idle speed refers to the operating state of the car when the engine is idling. The following are the reasons for lower car idle speed than before and their solutions: 1. The idle speed may have become lower due to a dirty throttle body. 2. Cleaning the throttle body is necessary, and the air filter should also be cleaned. Low idle speed can cause the following hazards: 1. With low idle speed, the car is prone to stalling when decelerating or stopping (commonly seen when waiting at traffic lights or slowing down for turns). 2. Low idle speed affects gear shifting. 3. For manual transmissions, excessively low idle speed makes it difficult to synchronize engine gears during shifting, compromising smoothness and potentially causing gear clashes and component wear. 4. During acceleration, it may result in insufficient power, preventing the car from performing optimally.
