Fault code P0336 indicates a crankshaft position sensor circuit malfunction. This is an intermittent issue and can typically be resolved by replacing the 7X crankshaft position sensor harness. When clearing fault codes in a vehicle, it is crucial to strictly follow the specific clearing method designated for the particular vehicle model. Avoid using methods like disconnecting the battery's negative terminal, as this may lead to the following two abnormal situations: 1. It may cause the control center of some vehicle models to lose normal records. Most vehicle computers have an automatic memory function, and removing the battery's negative terminal will erase useful engine operation data stored in the memory. 2. The processed fault code may reappear shortly after driving. Additionally, the above method may result in the loss of some normal functions, such as audio system lockout, which is a common example. In such cases, restoring the audio system to normal operation requires audio decryption, a process that can be very cumbersome.
