Method to remove the maintenance reminder on Changan CS75: 1. Turn the ignition key to the ON position (turn the key twice, or press the start button twice for keyless start); 2. Press the selection button on the steering wheel; 3. Then press the reset button for about 5 seconds (keep holding the reset button without releasing); 4. Turn off the power, remember not to release the reset button, then turn on the power again to clear the maintenance reminder. The Changan CS75 is a compact SUV positioned between the CS55 and CS95, equipped with Bluecore series engines. I've worked on quite a few Changan CS75s, and resetting the maintenance reminder light isn't actually difficult. After you get in the car, don't press the brake pedal, just press the start button twice to power up the dashboard—that puts it in the power-on state. Then keep your eyes on the dashboard, locate the TRIP button on the right side, and press and hold it. With your other hand, press the start button to ignite the engine. After the car starts, continue holding the TRIP button for more than 5 seconds. At this point, you'll see the little wrench symbol on the screen flash a few times and then disappear. Release the button, restart the car, and you're done. The whole process takes less than 30 seconds. However, I should remind you to make sure the maintenance has actually been done before resetting, otherwise delaying maintenance can damage the engine—this is quite important.

Last time I took my CS75 to the 4S shop for maintenance, I encountered this situation. The receptionist directly plugged a computer into the OBD port under the left side of the steering wheel and cleared the maintenance reminder in just a few steps. The technician told me that new cars can be reset using the steering wheel buttons, but the older system is less stable and prone to failure. The new method now is to use a diagnostic tool to access the BCM (Body Control Module), find the maintenance menu for manual reset, and even adjust the next maintenance mileage while at it. If you're worried about pressing the wrong buttons, the easiest way is to visit a 4S shop or a reliable repair shop—it only takes a few minutes and usually doesn't cost anything. They can also help you read fault codes and check the brake fluid's water content for added safety.

Check the owner's manual in your glovebox, page 137 has the diagram. For my 2020 CS75 PLUS, here's how: With the engine completely off, hold the OK button on the steering wheel, then press the start button twice to power on (don't start the engine). When 'Immediate Maintenance' appears on the dashboard, keep holding the OK button. Wait for the progress bar to complete and you'll hear a beep, then the reminder will disappear. If you can't find the manual, try accessing the vehicle settings menu from the infotainment screen - there should be a manual reset option under system maintenance. Remember not to touch the brake pedal during operation, otherwise the engine will start and you'll have to do it all over again.

I adjusted this for my dad before. Get in the car, close the door, and turn the key to the ACC position (dashboard lights on but engine off). With your right hand, locate the column-shaped button at the lower right corner of the instrument panel and hold it down. With your left hand, turn the key to the ON position (full vehicle power-on state), hold for about 5 seconds until the wrench icon flashes, then release. Remember this reset operation must be completed before starting the engine. The key point is the continuity of the actions - many failures occur due to insufficient button press time or too long intervals between operations. It's normal to try a couple times, don't panic. Best to check battery voltage beforehand as electronic systems can act up when power is low.

Key reminder: Simply resetting the maintenance light is only a superficial solution. The priority is ensuring the engine oil and filter have been properly replaced. I've observed three reset methods: newer models use steering wheel combo buttons, older versions rely on instrument cluster reset buttons, and OBD tools can also be employed. However, incorrect operation may trigger system lockouts - for instance, certain Changan models will freeze the reset function after three consecutive failures. It's advisable to perform the reset in daylight for better visibility of dashboard prompts. Post-reset, always verify through steering wheel controls that the trip computer displays the next maintenance interval as 5,000 km. This feature exists to safeguard driving safety - never neglect actual vehicle maintenance just to clear warnings. I've witnessed cases where delayed maintenance caused abnormal turbocharger wear, resulting in costly repairs.

How to cancel the next oil change maintenance reminder?

Follow the instrument panel's vehicle condition check prompt to reset it. Below is relevant information about the maintenance light: 1. Introduction: The maintenance light is a reminder function set by the manufacturer to prompt the owner to perform maintenance at certain mileage or time intervals, displayed through instrument or screen messages or indicator lights. Resetting the maintenance light means clearing the reminder information after maintenance is completed, essentially resetting the information; 2. How to Loosen the Camshaft Bolt on a Chevrolet Cruze?

To loosen the camshaft bolt on a Chevrolet Cruze, use a specialized tool and turn it counterclockwise. Below is relevant information about the camshaft: 1. Introduction: The camshaft is a component in a piston engine responsible for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Although in a four-stroke engine, the camshaft rotates at half the speed of the crankshaft, it typically still operates at high speeds and must endure significant torque. Therefore, the design requires high strength and robust support for the camshaft. 2. Working Conditions: The camshaft is subjected to periodic impact loads, and the contact stress between the cam and the tappet is substantial, with a relatively high sliding velocity. Consequently, the wear on the cam's working surface is severe. To address this, the camshaft journals and cam working surfaces must have high dimensional accuracy, low surface roughness, and sufficient rigidity. 3. Structure: The main body of the camshaft is a cylindrical rod approximately the length of the cylinder group, fitted with several cams to drive the valves. The camshaft is supported within the camshaft bearing holes by its journals, making the number of journals a critical factor in determining the camshaft's support stiffness.
