Operation method of KAMIQ automatic transmission: 1. The vehicle can only be started in P or N gear. To shift out of P gear, the brake must be pressed; 2. N gear start is suitable when the vehicle moves forward immediately after starting. You can first turn on the power, press the brake to shift to N gear, then ignite, and subsequently shift to D gear to move forward directly. This avoids passing through R gear after ignition in P gear, preventing a reverse impact on the transmission; 3. Never shift to N gear while driving to coast, as the automatic transmission requires lubrication. When the gear is placed in N gear while driving, the oil pump cannot supply oil normally for lubrication, causing the internal parts of the transmission to overheat and leading to complete damage; 4. Never shift to P gear while driving the automatic transmission vehicle. When changing the driving direction, switching between D gear and R gear must be done only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop.

When I first drove the automatic transmission KAMIQ, it felt quite smooth. After getting in the car, I pressed the brake pedal to start the engine, then shifted the gear lever from the P position to D for drive mode. Releasing the brake allowed the car to start moving slowly, with the vehicle automatically shifting gears without any manual intervention. When encountering a red light or needing to stop, I firmly pressed the brake and shifted to N (neutral) or kept it in D. After coming to a complete stop, I shifted to P (park) and engaged the electronic parking brake to prevent rolling back on slopes. I remember the system would help hold the car in place when starting on a slope, which was especially reassuring. For daily driving, keeping it in D mode ensures smooth operation. Regular checks on the brakes and transmission fluid maintenance can make the operation even smoother and extend the vehicle's lifespan.

After driving the KAMIQ with automatic transmission for a long time, I found the operation very worry-free. Before starting, ensure to press the brake to ignite, then easily shift to D to drive away. On the road, acceleration and deceleration are smooth with fast automatic gear shifting, requiring no extra effort. When parking, press the brake, shift to P to activate the handbrake for stable safety. In traffic jams, use N gear to rest briefly without worry. Develop the habit of checking dashboard indicator lights, such as the ABS status being normal. Occasionally encountering slippery roads, the system intelligently assists, making driving easier and more fuel-efficient.

The KAMIQ automatic transmission is straightforward and easy to operate. Simply start the engine, apply the brakes, shift gears, and you're ready to drive forward without manual shifting. The hill-start assist prevents slipping, making it practical and convenient. After starting, push the gear lever to D (Drive) to move forward naturally. When coming to a complete stop, shift to P (Park) and engage the handbrake—that's all there is to it. Regularly pay attention to road conditions, avoid sudden acceleration, and protect the transmission to extend the vehicle's lifespan.

As a female driver, I find the details of the KAMIQ automatic transmission very considerate. First, I press the brake to start the engine for safety, then shift to D gear and start smoothly—the automatic shifting is stable and effortless. At traffic lights, I press the brake and shift to N gear for a temporary rest, and when parking, I shift to P and pull the handbrake. The system includes hill-start assist and anti-slip features, making it especially suitable for urban commuting. Regularly cleaning dust inside the car keeps the control panel clear, making operations smoother and safer.

The KAMIQ automatic transmission offers diverse functions and rich operations, such as ignition, braking, and gear shifting. For daily driving, the D mode ensures fuel efficiency, while the sporty S mode provides powerful acceleration, ideal for highways. When parking, shift to P mode to activate the handbrake system, with intelligent hill-start assist for smooth operation. I often experiment with different modes to optimize driving experience and extend component lifespan. During maintenance, check the transmission fluid level to ensure quick and reliable operational response.

What should I do if I'm afraid of driving on the highway for the first time?

Here are some tips for driving on the highway: 1. Rearview mirrors: Always check your mirrors before changing lanes. Failing to do so will make you fully responsible in case of an accident. 2. Yield speed, not lane: When encountering a situation, step on the brake instead of swerving. If you can't avoid it, just hit the obstacle. 3. Overtaking timing: Make sure to choose the right moment when overtaking. Never overtake if conditions aren't favorable, and always overtake smoothly. Avoid overtaking on curves, especially when driving alongside large trucks, as trucks tend to unintentionally occupy part of the adjacent lane on curves, making it easy to get sideswiped if you force an overtake. 4. New drivers should follow the rules: Stick to the middle lane as much as possible. Driving in the middle lane gives you better visibility on both sides and allows for earlier judgment.
