There are two methods to open the trunk of Baojun 730: 1. When the central locking is engaged, press and hold the middle button on the remote control for 2 seconds until you hear a beep, then the trunk will open; 2. If the central locking is not engaged, simply press the opening button located to the right of the license plate light on the trunk door. The Baojun 730 CVT version is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine paired with an 8-speed simulated CVT transmission. The turbocharger in this engine is Honeywell's next-generation model, delivering a rated power of 111kW and a maximum net torque of 250Nm. The turbo engages at around 1000 RPM and reaches the maximum torque of mainstream 2.4L naturally aspirated engines on the market by 1600 RPM.

When I drove the Baojun 730 before, I just needed to find the button with the trunk icon on the left side of the driver's seat or the lower left corner of the steering wheel and press it, and the trunk would pop open a crack. The most convenient way is to use the remote key. Within about 2 meters of the car, press and hold the separate trunk unlock button on the key for 3 seconds, and the trunk will unlock as soon as the hazard lights flash. The new high-end car keys are sensor-based; just walk to the rear of the car with the key in your pocket and stand for a few seconds, and the trunk will open automatically. There's also a small groove at the bottom of the trunk that can be used to open it—just insert your finger and lift upwards. If the battery is dead, don't worry. First, fold down the rear seats, climb in, and pry open the trunk liner. Then, use the key head to poke the mechanical lock inside for an emergency opening, although the posture might not be very elegant.

My neighbor asked me the same question just a couple of days ago. After helping him for a while, I found it's actually quite simple: the Baojun 730 doesn't have a separate button on the center console. You need to bend down and look near the driver's left knee position, where there's a small switch with a rear car emblem on a black plastic panel. The standalone button in the middle of the remote key controls the tailgate - press it for three seconds until the red light flashes twice, and it will open. For base models without a key button, you'll have to manually open the car door and walk to the rear. Above the license plate on both sides, there are two small holes where you can insert your fingers to feel elastic rubber blocks. Push them upward until you hear a click sound to unlock. For higher trim models with automatic tailgate lifting, be careful to avoid pinching your hands as the tailgate will automatically rise about 15 centimeters after unlocking.

A 2020 model year owner taught me this exclusive trick. Besides the conventional key fob unlock and interior handle, this car has a sensor-based opening feature: with the factory key in your pocket, simply wave your foot under the rear bumper (aim right below the license plate), and when the hazard lights flash, step back half a step to trigger automatic trunk opening. However, the sensor may be less responsive on rainy days when the ground is slippery. The interior handle is cleverly hidden on the left side of the steering column, obscured by the wheel—you’ll need to duck your head to locate it. Older models lack the foot-sensing feature and require manually pressing a concealed switch above the license plate light. When locked, you must hold the trunk button on the key fob for at least two seconds to activate it.

As a seasoned mechanic who has repaired hundreds of Baojun vehicles, I recommend checking these points first: whether the key battery is dead causing weak signals; if the child lock is accidentally activated (there's a white knob on the inner edge of the tailgate); or if a short circuit is causing the control module to fail (especially in water-damaged vehicles). There are three conventional methods to open it: 1) Press and hold the tailgate button on the remote key for 3 seconds; 2) Look for a rectangular switch with raised dots near the driver's leg area; 3) Simply press the rubber button above the license plate. For high-end models with automatic lift, avoid manually forcing the tailgate down as it can burn out the motor. If it won't open, first fold down the second-row seats and lift the tailgate lining to reveal the red emergency pull ring.

A female car owner shares a handy tip: The most practical feature when returning from grocery shopping with both hands full is the remote trunk release. Point the key towards the rear of the car, hold down the button with the car icon until you hear the unlocking sound, then release. When closing the trunk, check if the two rubber stoppers on the inner side of the door panel are worn or missing, as lack of cushioning can prevent a proper seal. Be cautious when opening the trunk on rainy days to avoid water pouring down from above. Last year, after my car was rear-ended and repaired, I found that the painter had misaligned the trunk latch hook; adjusting the angle fixed the issue. The mechanical keyhole is located between the license plate lights—turning it counterclockwise 90 degrees can also open the trunk, but you’ll end up getting your hands dirty from lying on the ground.

What to Do When the Key for One-Button Start Runs Out of Battery?

Here are the solutions when the key for one-button start runs out of battery: 1. Vehicles with one-button start usually have a slot for the smart key. Some models place this slot inside the center console, while others position it under the cup holder mat. When the smart key is out of battery, insert it into this slot and wait a moment. The vehicle will detect the key and allow you to start the engine. 2. One-button start models also come with a mechanical keyhole for starting the vehicle with a metal key. Locate the mechanical keyhole (often hidden behind the one-button start plastic button, which may need to be pried out), insert the key blade from the remote key, and start the vehicle as you would with a traditional car. 3. Place the remote key against the one-button start button or another designated sensing area. After a short wait, the vehicle will detect the key, enabling you to start the engine. This method maximizes the smart key's sensing capability, though it may not work if the battery is completely drained. 4. Replace the battery. You can visit a 4S store to get a new smart battery or purchase the same model online and replace it yourself. However, this method is time-consuming and not suitable for emergencies.

How Many Times Can You Take the Subject One Exam?

There is no limit to the number of times you can take the Subject One exam. According to the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses," you can take the Subject One exam twice on the same day. If you fail the first attempt, you can take a free second attempt. If you still fail the second attempt, the Subject One exam will be terminated, and you can only schedule another exam after ten days. Subject One, also known as the theoretical exam or driver's theory test, is part of the motor vehicle driver's license assessment. The exam content includes driving theory fundamentals, road safety laws and regulations, local regulations, and related knowledge. The exam is computer-based, with a time limit of 45 minutes. To pass the Subject One exam, you need a score of 90 or above. The exam consists of 100 questions, including single-choice and true/false questions, with each question worth 1 point (total score: 100). If you answer 11 questions incorrectly, the system will automatically submit the exam and end the test. Subject One Exam Content: Driver's license and motor vehicle management regulations; road traffic conditions and rules; road traffic safety violations and penalties; road traffic accident handling regulations; basic knowledge of motor vehicles; local regulations; knowledge of braking systems and safety devices for large and medium-sized passenger and freight vehicles; specialized knowledge for wheeled self-propelled machinery, trams, and trolleybuses. Subject One Exam Notes: During the exam, candidates must dress appropriately—no slippers are allowed. Electronic devices and bags are prohibited in the exam room. Bring your ID card and queue to enter the waiting hall. Observe the instructions and procedures on the large screen, and store personal belongings in a locker before entering the exam room. Upon entering the exam room, the identity verification desk will assign a seat. Once seated, begin the exam. Ensure the camera is aligned properly and follow exam rules. If you fail the first attempt, you can retake the exam the same day. If you fail again, you must pay to reschedule. After the exam, queue to collect your score report and sign it—unsigned reports are invalid. There is no limit to the number of times you can schedule the Subject One exam. Each exam allows one retake if you fail. If you skip the retake or fail it, the exam ends, and you must reschedule. In contrast, Subject Two and Subject Three exams allow only five attempts each. If you fail Subject Two or Subject Three, you must wait ten days before rescheduling. If you fail the Subject Three safe driving knowledge test, your previously passed road driving skills test results remain valid. The driving test consists of three subjects: Subject One, Subject Two, and Subject Three. Subject One covers road traffic safety laws, regulations, and related knowledge. Subject Two tests field driving skills. Subject Three includes two components: road driving skills and safe driving knowledge. The safe driving knowledge test is conducted after Subject Three, so it is commonly referred to as Subject Four. However, the official term (as per the Ministry of Public Security's Order No. 123) does not include the term "Subject Four."

Where is the radiator located in the Honda Lingpai?

Honda Lingpai's radiator is positioned at the front of the engine, directly behind the front grille where it faces the wind. Here are more details about the Honda Lingpai: 1. Powertrain: The Lingpai is equipped with a 1.0T three-cylinder turbocharged engine, codenamed P10A3, paired with a CVT transmission. The engine's power output is slightly lower than the 1.0T Civic, at 122 horsepower, but it shares the same maximum torque of 173 N·m. 2. Noise insulation: The Lingpai performs well in isolating tire and road noise, thanks to additional soundproofing materials in various areas, including the engine hood, trunk lid, and spare tire cover, all of which feature soundproofing foam. The main source of noise inside the cabin still comes from the engine.

What Causes the Tire Pressure Warning in the Tiguan?

The tire pressure warning light in the Volkswagen Tiguan illuminates when there is abnormal tire pressure, either too high or too low. What to do if tire pressure is insufficient: If no damage is visible on the car's tires, simply inflate them to the normal pressure and reset the tire pressure system. If inspection reveals a puncture, drive to a repair shop immediately for a patch, then reinflate the tire. If the tire pressure warning reappears after inflation without any punctures, it may be due to air leakage caused by a deformed wheel rim. It is recommended to inspect and replace the wheel rim. Hazards of excessive tire pressure: Reduced tire friction and adhesion, affecting braking performance; Causes steering wheel vibration and deviation, reducing driving comfort; Accelerates wear on the central tread pattern, shortening tire lifespan; Increases body vibration, indirectly affecting the lifespan of other components; Overstretches tire cords, reducing elasticity and increasing the load on the car during driving; Decreases puncture resistance. Sharp objects like nails or glass can easily penetrate the tire, leading to internal cracks, blowouts, or even tire bursts.

Will a Tire Pressure of 3.0 Cause a Blowout?

Tire pressure of 3.0 bar will not cause a blowout, as tires can generally withstand a maximum pressure of around 3.5 bar. Hazards of Overinflated Tires: Reduced friction and adhesion of the tire, affecting braking performance; Causes steering wheel vibration and misalignment, reducing driving comfort; Accelerates wear on the central tread pattern, shortening tire lifespan; Increases vehicle vibration, indirectly affecting the lifespan of other components; Overextends the tire cords, reducing elasticity and increasing the load on the vehicle during driving; Decreases puncture resistance. Sharp objects like nails or glass can easily penetrate the tire, leading to internal cracks or blowouts. Solutions for Underinflated Tires: If no damage is visible, simply inflate to the normal pressure and reset the tire pressure system; If a puncture is found, drive to a tire shop for repair and reinflation; If the tire pressure warning reappears after inflation without any visible damage, it may be due to a leaking wheel rim. Inspect and replace the rim if necessary.
