How to Open the Front Panel of a Heavy Truck?

There is a mechanism on the left side of the heavy truck's clutch. When you lift it, the front panel will automatically open. Another method is that there are two handles under the heavy truck's panel. Push them in opposite directions to open it.
I've driven heavy trucks for many years, and opening the front panel is a routine task. Typically, you sit in the driver's seat and can feel a metal lever or button near your feet or under the steering column. Pulling it will produce a slight click sound, indicating the front lock has been released. Then, get out and walk to the front of the truck, lifting the large panel steadily with both hands. It has some weight, so don’t let kids try it. I like to check the oil and coolant levels before long hauls, topping them up to avoid issues on the road. Once, my truck overheated and I had to pull over—opening the panel revealed a loose fan belt, which I tightened in time to prevent engine damage. I recommend spraying some lubricant on the hinges to prevent rust and always ensuring the engine is off and the key is removed for safety. Make it a habit to regularly check the radiator for blockages like small stones—this keeps your truck running longer and trouble-free.
