Owner removes the button on the side of the car remote key and takes out the BMW mechanical key. Under the door handle on the driver's side door, a small hole can be seen. Insert the key into this hole. This allows the cover on the door handle to be removed, revealing the hidden mechanical keyhole. Insert the BMW mechanical key into the keyhole and turn it counterclockwise to unlock and open the door. Below the right side of the steering wheel, the owner can find a key icon. Place the car key against this icon and then press the start button inside the car.
