I previously used the 'Study to Reduce Points' feature because of point deductions, and the entire process was operated on the Traffic Management 12123 APP. After logging into my account, I found the 'Study to Reduce Points' entry in the business center, selected the online learning and exam mode, and submitted the application. The review was quick, and it was approved in just a few minutes. Then, I started learning, which required watching 30 minutes of traffic safety videos, including accident cases and traffic regulation analyses. During the learning process, the system would randomly perform facial recognition to prevent idling. After completion, I took the exam directly—passing required answering 18 out of 20 multiple-choice questions correctly, and I passed on my first try. After passing the exam, 1 point was automatically deducted, which was very convenient. However, note that a maximum of 6 points can be reduced in one scoring cycle, and there must be a 15-day interval between two applications. It's best to choose a stable network environment for learning to avoid interruptions.

How to Adjust the Current of a Battery Charger?

The method for adjusting the current of a battery charger is as follows: 1. The current should be set to one-tenth of the battery capacity, or alternatively, one-twentieth of the battery capacity; 2. If the charging current is too high, it can easily cause the battery electrolyte to boil, which is harmful to the battery and can affect its lifespan; 3. Generally, it is recommended to charge at one-twentieth of the battery capacity, with a charging time of approximately 24 hours. Factors that affect battery capacity and usage include: 1. Delayed installation and use after the battery leaves the factory, leading to long-term storage, where temperature variations significantly impact the battery's self-discharge; 2. Positive plate corrosion and deformation causing insufficient capacity; 3. Sulfation of the negative plate.

How Many Kilometers Should Brake Pads Be Run In After Replacement?

Brake pads need to be run in for 200 kilometers after replacement. Below is the relevant information: Reasons for run-in: Brake pads are composed of steel plates, adhesive heat insulation layers, and friction blocks. Used brake pads have been run in with brake discs, resulting in a large contact surface with many uneven contact points, providing strong braking force. New brake pads have a relatively flat surface and a smaller contact area with the brake disc, leading to reduced braking force. This may cause the newly replaced brake pads to feel less effective, hence the need for run-in. Function of brake pads: Automotive brake pads refer to the friction materials fixed on the rotating brake drums or brake discs of the wheels. The friction linings and blocks bear external pressure to generate friction, thereby achieving the purpose of vehicle deceleration.

What Causes High Coolant Temperature?

High coolant temperature is caused by: 1. Insufficient engine coolant; 2. Faulty water temperature sensor or gauge; 3. Driving with tailwind or prolonged low-speed heavy-load operation in hot seasons; 4. Incorrect ignition timing (too early or late); 5. Incomplete opening of the radiator shutters; 6. Overly lean or rich air-fuel mixture; 7. Severe external dirt accumulation or internal scaling in the radiator. Solutions include: 1. Check coolant level in the radiator and top up if insufficient; 2. Inspect fan belt tension and blade angle; 3. Verify if radiator shutters fully open and whether fins are excessively bent or clogged; 4. Observe water pump circulation via radiator filler neck; 5. Remove thermostat from engine coolant outlet pipe for heating test in water; 6. Drain engine block to inspect water jacket scaling.
