Place a horizontal masking tape on the wall 0.1 meters lower than the headlight height, ensuring the tape is centered directly in front of the car. Adjust the vertical adjustment screw until the headlight beam is centered on the tape on the wall. Continue adjusting the vertical adjustment screw until the headlight beam is pointing straight forward. To ensure the adjustment is correct, measure the height of the beam on the wall and compare it to the height of the headlights.

Just helped a friend adjust the headlight height on his Tayron 330 a few days ago, and it's actually quite simple. Near the driver's left knee area, you'll find the light control panel with a rotary knob marked 0-3 for height adjustment. Setting 0 provides the closest beam, ideal for uphill driving, while setting 3 offers the longest beam for highway night driving. For regular city driving, setting 2 is most suitable. The standard height is that the center point of the beam should be about 70 cm above the ground at a distance of 50 meters.

Improper headlight height adjustment can affect driving safety. Based on my experience, the Tayron 330 primarily relies on electronic adjustment inside the vehicle. The round knob in the lighting control area near the driver's left leg is the key, offering four adjustable levels from 0 (fully loaded) to 3 (unloaded). For city driving, setting it to level 2 is recommended, providing adequate illumination of 30 meters without causing glare. On highways, use level 3 to increase visibility depth. Seasonal factors should also be considered for light adjustment. During winter rain or fog, I lower it to level 1.5 to reduce ground reflection. If you notice any misalignment in the headlights, adjust them promptly to avoid accidents.

The lighting adjustment on the Tayron 330 is quite user-friendly. Every time after washing the car, I check the headlight height using the numbered roller on the left side of the steering wheel. The design is very practical - setting 0 tilts the lights upward for hill climbing, while setting 3 angles them downward to avoid dazzling oncoming vehicles when fully loaded. In actual tests with an unloaded vehicle, setting the dial to position 2 projects the light beam perfectly onto the ground about 20 meters ahead. The manual recommends checking the headlight height every 5,000 km, especially for vehicles frequently driven on bumpy roads.
