Try to avoid stepping on the accelerator when reversing, and control the speed to avoid going too fast. Depending on the direction the rear of the car needs to move, use the left hand to turn the steering wheel. If the rear needs to move to the right rear, turn the steering wheel to the right. Conversely, turn the steering wheel to the left. Precautions: During the reversing process, do not keep looking at the rear. While ensuring the safety behind the car, it is necessary to occasionally observe the left and right rearview mirrors, pay attention to the distance between obstacles and the car body, and accordingly use the steering wheel to adjust the position of the car while reversing. If you feel that the front of the car might hit an obstacle during reversing, you should also check the front of the car at the appropriate time.

When I used to work on cars, I often saw cases where rear parking sensors were installed. The biggest damage was caused by improper installation leading to damage to the original wiring. Novices drilling holes themselves might hit the car's body panels, causing rust or water leakage. Unprofessional wiring can mess up the original wire harness, leading to short circuits or blown fuses. Some car models have sensitive electronic control modules, and external devices drawing too much power can cause the to fail prematurely. Improper installation can damage the car: Drilling holes compromises the body's sealing and causes rust; Low-quality radars consume excessive power and accelerate aging; Random wiring may burn out the BCM (Body Control Module). The original vehicle circuit design is precise, and forcibly connecting parallel devices can interfere with the reverse camera signal. Choosing an OBD plug-and-play radar is the safest option, as it requires no wire cutting and draws power through the diagnostic port. The one I've been using has had no issues for two years.
