Watching it on TV doesn't do it justice. When you're there, the pack comes by in a blur and the sound hits your chest. They're going so fast it looks like they're glued together. They're easily pushing 190 most of the time. The strategy is all about that draft—staying in line to save your car for the final lap. It’s less about pure speed and more about nerve and positioning at that velocity.
