Check for air leaks in the intake pipes and whether the turbo solenoid valve is aging, as these can affect actual performance. Some people spend big money on ECU remapping only to find out that throttle carbon buildup caused poor power output. If you truly want a sporty feel, installing a K&N air filter to enhance intake sound and tightening the steering wheel's power assist can satisfy you for just over a hundred bucks.
