Yes. Students who have successfully scheduled an exam must personally bring their ID card to the service hall of the vehicle management office to cancel the appointment. If the student is unable to go to the vehicle management office, a representative must bring both their own ID card and the ID card of the person canceling the appointment to the service hall of the vehicle management office to complete the process. Each student has three opportunities to cancel an appointment for each subject, which is a legal and reasonable procedure. Since the scheduling of driving tests is based on rankings, users with higher priority are ranked higher and naturally get priority for exam arrangements. Normally canceling an appointment will not affect the ranking.

Last time when I was learning to drive, I found a scheduling conflict after making an appointment, so I directly asked the driving school instructor to help handle it. As long as you inform them three days before the test and provide your ID information, they can cancel it using their internal system. Remember not to wait until the last day before the test, otherwise it will be counted as a no-show and affect your next booking opportunity. My instructor also reminded me to rebook immediately after cancellation, otherwise the popular time slots will be quickly taken. Some smaller driving schools might require you to handle it yourself on the Traffic Management 12123 APP, but larger driving schools usually take care of these services for you.

The driving school can definitely help you cancel your reservation. Over the years, I've guided many students through this process. Simply contact the person in charge when you enrolled, bring your ID card to the driving school to register the cancellation reason, and the application submitted in the backend will take effect within two hours. The key is to pay attention to the cancellation deadline—if it exceeds 24 hours before the test, a service fee will be charged. Students retaking the test should cancel promptly; otherwise, accumulating three no-shows will require re-paying the training fee. It's advisable to confirm your schedule two weeks in advance, as last-minute changes can significantly delay your progress.

My mom encountered this situation when learning to drive last year, and the driving school canceled it promptly. Just call and explain the situation five working days in advance, and their system will handle it directly without even needing to step out. However, it's important to note that rules vary by region—where we are, canceling more than twice requires retaking the theoretical training. It's best to ask the driving school to print a receipt on the cancellation day to avoid future disputes. Now you can also handle it on the 12123 app, but if elderly people aren't comfortable using smartphones, contacting the driving school is the easiest option.

Just helped a friend cancel an appointment last week. The driving school front desk registered the name and ID number, and a cancellation success notification SMS was received within five minutes. The latest to apply is two working days before the exam, otherwise it will occupy the exam quota. Now the driving school systems are all connected to the traffic management platform, making the processing efficiency much faster than if we did it ourselves. However, after cancellation, you have to queue up again for the exam appointment, and for popular time slots like the third subject, you might have to wait half a month. It's recommended to plan your schedule before making an exam appointment.

As someone who's been through it, I can confirm that driving schools do allow appointment cancellations. My instructor specifically emphasized: just bring your ID card to the driving school office and fill out an application form, but it must be processed in person. Weekday processing is faster, with submissions before 8 PM taking effect the next day. More than three cancellations will land you on a key supervision list, requiring the driving school principal's signature for future test bookings. Some driving schools even offer one-click cancellation via APP, though it's always safer to directly contact your assigned instructor for handling.

Yes, Volvos are generally expensive to maintain, falling in the mid-range for European luxury brands, though less expensive than some competitors like BMW or Porsche. Given the higher part costs and labor rates from Volvo specialists, adhering to a proper maintenance schedule and addressing problems early is an effective strategy for avoiding costlier repairs in the future.
