There are no specific clothing requirements for the Subject 1 test. The "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses" clearly stipulates, but please try not to wear clothing such as tank tops, vests, or slippers, otherwise entry to the examination hall will be prohibited. If wearing hats, masks, scarves, or other facial coverings, you can enter the examination hall after removing them. Subject 1, also known as the Subject 1 theoretical test or driver theory test, is part of the motor vehicle driving license assessment. The test content includes driving theory basics, road safety laws and regulations, local regulations, and related knowledge. The Subject 1 test consists of 100 questions, divided into single-choice questions and true/false questions, with each question worth 1 point and a total score of 100. If 11 questions are answered incorrectly during the test, the system will automatically submit the test and end the examination. The Subject 1 test is conducted on a computer. There is a time limit for the test, with a duration of 45 minutes. Subject 1 test content: Driving license and motor vehicle management regulations; road traffic conditions and regulations; road traffic safety violations and penalties; road traffic accident handling regulations; basic knowledge of motor vehicles; local regulations; knowledge of braking systems and safety devices for large and medium-sized passenger and cargo vehicles; specialized knowledge for wheeled self-propelled machinery, trams, and trolleybuses. Subject 1 test precautions: During the Subject 1 test, students should pay attention to their attire—no slippers are allowed, and electronic devices and bags are prohibited in the examination hall. Bring your ID card and queue to enter the waiting hall. Observe the precautions and procedures on the large screen, and place personal items in the locker before entering the examination hall. Upon entering the examination hall, the identity verification station will assign a seat. After finding your seat, begin the test. Ensure the camera is aligned with you and adhere to test discipline. If you fail the first time, there is a retake opportunity on the same day. If you fail again, you must pay to reschedule. After completion, queue to collect the score report and sign it. Failure to sign will render the test invalid. There is no limit to the number of times you can schedule the Subject 1 test. Each subject test can be taken once, and if failed, a retake is allowed. If you do not attend the retake or fail the retake, the test is terminated, and the applicant must reschedule. However, Subject 2 and Subject 3 have only five test attempts each. Subject 2 and Subject 3 tests must be scheduled ten days later. If the Subject 3 safe and civilized driving knowledge test is failed, the passed road driving skills test scores remain valid. Steps to schedule the Subject 1 test online are as follows: Open the Comprehensive Traffic Safety Service Management Platform and select your province or city. Choose Test Scheduling. Click Register Now. Fill in user information: Enter your ID number and the mobile phone number used during registration, as shown: Select user type: Choose "First-time applicant for a motor vehicle driving license." Enter the SMS verification code, as shown: Read and agree to the terms of service, then click "Next." Confirm the information is correct and click "Next," as shown: Test Scheduling: Select the test subject, test location, and the start and end time for the scheduling request. Enter the image verification code and click "Next," as shown: Select date and session: The system provides two scheduling modes—choose your own test session or let the system arrange it for you, as shown: If you choose the mode to select your own test session, you can choose one or multiple sessions. If you choose the mode to let the system arrange it, the system will automatically match suitable test sessions within your selected time frame. After selection, click "Next" to confirm submission. Confirm submission and review the information again. If correct, click "Complete." After successful submission, the system generates a transaction number. The system will arrange the test on the day of the scheduling result announcement and publish the scheduling result. There are three subjects in the driving test: Subject 1, Subject 2, and Subject 3. Subject 1 refers to the road traffic safety laws, regulations, and related knowledge test; Subject 2 refers to the field driving skills test; Subject 3 is divided into two parts, referring to the road driving skills and safe and civilized driving knowledge test. The safe and civilized driving knowledge test is conducted after Subject 3, so it is commonly referred to as Subject 4. However, the official term (as per the Ministry of Public Security Order No. 123) does not include Subject 4.

Actually, wearing a skirt for the Subject 1 test is totally fine. I passed the exam dressed like that too. The test is just a written exam where you sit in front of a computer and click the mouse to answer questions, so there's no need to move around. A skirt is quite comfortable. However, make sure it's not too short or revealing, as the test center has surveillance cameras and your face needs to be clearly visible, otherwise you might be suspected of cheating. Also, bring a jacket in case the air conditioning is too cold. The test might take over an hour, so wearing something comfortable helps you focus better on the questions. A relaxed mindset leads to better performance. Remember to bring your ID and arrive at the test center early.

I've helped many people prepare for their driving tests before, and wearing a skirt for the subject one exam is a common choice with no major restrictions. The key points are to consider the testing environment: the seat height may vary, so just maintain a proper sitting posture and ensure the skirt isn't too long to trip over. The camera must capture a clear facial image, so avoid wearing necklaces or other obstructive accessories. By the way, indoor temperature can be unpredictable—if your legs get cold in a skirt, it might affect your mood, so bringing a light blanket or adjusting accordingly is advisable. Overall, don't stress over such minor details; focus more on practicing the test questions.

As someone familiar with the exam procedures, I can confirm that wearing skirts is completely allowed. The exam requirements only care about whether you bring qualified identification and focus on answering questions, with no strict rules on clothing. Skirts are convenient for sitting and operating the computer, as long as the camera can recognize your face. Additional advice is to check in advance whether your outfit affects your concentration, such as avoiding stockings or materials that might slide on the chair and make noise. In short, these are not the main points; passing the exam is what matters most.

My child also wore a skirt when taking the theory test, and everything went smoothly. The key is to consider the exam facilities: the seats might be old or have a curve, so avoid overly tight skirts to prevent discomfort, as the test lasts about two hours—comfort comes first. The camera monitoring requires an unobstructed face, so avoid large headpieces or wigs. The exam center might be dry and cold, so don’t wear skirts that are too thin to keep your legs warm. Ultimately, nothing beats thorough preparation of the theory question bank.

Wearing a skirt for the written driving test? I tried it myself and it's totally fine! You just sit there tapping the screen—no walking or operating vehicle controls, so skirts are completely comfortable. But remember, the camera captures your face the whole time, so avoid high necklines or fringe that might accidentally block the view. Indoor temperatures can vary, so pairing the skirt with thick socks is more practical. Exam mindset matters most—don’t get distracted by these small details. Focus on practicing questions, and relax—what you wear really doesn’t matter.

What does the automatic clutch version mean?

Automatic clutch version refers to a car equipped with an automatic clutch transmission. The automatic clutch transmission, also known as the automatic clutch control system, is an intelligent clutch control system developed for manual transmission models. Without altering the original transmission and clutch, it adds an independent system controlled by a microcomputer to engage and disengage the clutch, achieving the effect of driving without stepping on the clutch. Automatic clutch transmissions are divided into: 1. Mechanical motor-type automatic clutch transmission, where the ECU collects signals from the throttle pedal, engine speed sensor, and vehicle speed sensor, processes them, and sends commands to drive the motor, mechanically operating the clutch; 2. Hydraulic automatic clutch transmission, where the ECU sends signals to drive the electro-hydraulic system, hydraulically operating the clutch.

Should New Car Repairs Be Done at a 4S Shop or a Repair Shop?

New car repairs can be done at either a 4S shop or a repair shop, depending on personal circumstances. For repairs such as paint touch-ups for scratches, sheet metal work, and replacement or installation of decorative parts, there is generally no impact on vehicle performance, including systems like the engine, brakes, electrical circuits, and steering. Therefore, either option is suitable. However, for more significant damage or repairs requiring strong professional expertise, choosing a 4S shop is advisable. When deciding between a 4S shop or a repair shop, the following scenarios can be considered: First, if the vehicle is still under warranty, it is recommended to choose a 4S shop for repairs. Second, if the repair is covered by insurance, regardless of whether the vehicle is under warranty, opting for a 4S shop is preferable. Third, for vehicles without insurance and out of warranty, minor issues can be addressed at a repair shop, while major problems are better handled at a 4S shop. Ultimately, the choice depends on the car owner's personal preference. A 4S shop operates under a car franchise model centered around four key services: sales, spare parts, after-sales service, and information feedback. These shops are more professional, offer manufacturer warranties, and provide higher-quality technology and parts, making them more reliable and standardized. Any issues that arise later can be resolved more easily. However, for minor problems, small faults, or repairs that car owners can manage themselves, choosing a repair shop can be simpler and more cost-effective in terms of both time and money.
