Subject 1 exam consists entirely of original questions. The total duration of the Subject 1 exam is 45 minutes, and the test paper is composed of 100 questions, including true/false and single-choice questions, with a full score of 100. The test paper is randomly selected and combined by the computer driver examination system according to the proportion specified in the "Motor Vehicle Driver's License Work Regulations." Since July 2015, the Ministry of Public Security updated the Subject 1 question bank to 1229 questions, while the question bank for large vehicles remains unchanged. Subject 1 Exam Content (Outline) Road traffic safety laws, regulations, and rules: Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and its implementation regulations, Criminal Law, Procedures for Handling Road Traffic Safety Violations, Procedures for Handling Road Traffic Accidents, Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses, and Regulations on Motor Vehicle Registration. Local regulations: Key content is selected based on local regulations. Traffic signals: Road traffic lights, road traffic signs, road traffic markings, and traffic police hand signals. Basic knowledge of safe driving and civilized driving: Driving behavior and traffic safety violations. Basic knowledge related to motor vehicle operation: Instruments and indicators, control devices, and safety devices.
