Having trouble connecting your Avantree Ensemble Wireless Headphones to your TV? Here's how to troubleshoot:
Pairing Steps:
- Power Up: Ensure the transmitter is connected to a power source (TV USB port or a 5V/500mAh-2A USB charger) and turned on. Look for a rapidly flashing blue LED on the transmitter.
- Headphone Activation: Turn on your Ensemble headphones using the power switch. The LED on the headphones should flash red and blue alternately.
- Proximity Pairing: Place the headphones and transmitter close together. They should connect automatically within seconds, indicated by a solid blue LED on the headphones.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Audio Output Settings: Check your TV's audio output settings. If using digital optical, set the Audio Format or Digital Sound Out to PCM, or disable Dolby/DTS. For 3.5mm or RCA connections, select Wired Headphones, Headset, or External Speaker in the Sound Out or Speaker settings.
- Secure Connections: Verify that audio cables are securely connected. Use the correct cables: optical audio cable for digital optical, AUX cable for 3.5mm, or AUX cable with a 3.5mm to RCA adapter for RCA connections.
- Manual Pairing: If automatic pairing fails, try manual pairing. Put the transmitter into pairing mode by pressing and holding the MFB button for 5 seconds (LED flashes red and blue). Then, put the headphones into pairing mode by turning them on and holding the on/off switch in the Bluetooth mode for 5 seconds until the LED indicator starts flashing red and blue. Place them close to each other until a solid blue light appears on the LED.
