Assembling your Bella 13872 Two-Tier Food Steamer is simple. Begin by unpacking all components and removing any packaging. Wash the lid, rice bowl, upper and lower steaming bowls, and drip tray using warm, soapy water or in the top rack of your dishwasher. Next, use a damp cloth to wipe the inside of the reservoir and heating element. To assemble, place the drip tray into the base, using its handles. For single-layer steaming, position the steaming bowl marked #1 onto the drip tray and top with the clear lid. For two-layer steaming, securely place the steaming bowl marked #2 onto steaming bowl #1, then add the lid. Remember that both the lid and the rice bowl are compatible with either layer.
