Keeping your Holman 318HX Series Proveyor Multi Purpose Oven running efficiently means keeping its conveyor belt clean. Here’s a breakdown of how to clean it:
Daily Cleaning:
- Switch the main power OFF and unplug the unit.
- Remove and clean the load and unload trays with mild detergent and warm water.
- Slide out the crumb trays and wipe them clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Be sure to replace the trays.
Weekly Cleaning:
- Turn off the power and unplug the unit.
- Wipe the vanguard on the control box cover (under the unit) with a damp cloth.
- With the power off, use a wire grill brush or dry abrasive pad to clean the moving conveyor belt. Ensure the crumb tray is in place.
- Wipe the conveyor belt with a damp cloth to remove any remaining particles.
Monthly (Deep) Cleaning:
- If the belt is heavily soiled, find the MasterLinks and detach them.
- Carefully remove the conveyor belt from the oven by rolling it out.
- Clean the conveyor belt in a sink with a mild cleaner or soak it in hot soapy water.
- Clean the inside of the oven with a damp cloth, avoiding the heater tubes.
- Remove the conveyor support system and clean it with warm water and an abrasive pad.
- Reinstall the conveyor belt, making sure it’s properly aligned and secured with the MasterLinks.
- Replace the crumb trays and reconnect the oven to the power to test.
