To enhance the security of your ARREGUI RESIST Electronic Safe with key, you can change both the master and user codes using the following procedures. Remember to keep your codes confidential.
Changing the Master Code:
- Press * and then ENTER.
- Press 1 and then ENTER.
- Input the existing master code (typically 123456) and press ENTER.
- Enter your new master code (between 4 and 6 digits) and press ENTER.
- Re-enter the new master code to confirm and press ENTER.
Programming a User Code (using the master code):
- Note that the user code is initially deactivated.
- Press * and then ENTER.
- Press 2 and then ENTER.
- Input the current master code and press ENTER.
- Enter your desired user code (4 to 6 digits) and press ENTER.
- Confirm the new user code by entering it again and pressing ENTER.
Changing the User Code (if previously set, without the master code):
- This is only possible if a user code has already been established using the master code.
- Press * and then ENTER.
- Press 3 and then ENTER.
- Enter the existing user code and press ENTER.
- Enter a new user code (4 to 6 digits) and press ENTER.
- Re-enter the new user code and press ENTER to confirm.
Deleting the User Code (using the master code):
- Press * and then ENTER.
- Press 0 and then ENTER.
- Enter the valid master code and press ENTER.
If the process is successful, you'll hear two beeps, and the green LED will flash. If not, three beeps will sound, indicating an error; the previous code remains. Repeat the steps if necessary. Always store your codes securely.
