1. Find the battery compartment. It's located on the underside of the snake.
2. Open the compartment. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the battery cover. Turn the screw counterclockwise.
3. Insert the batteries. You'll need three AAA batteries. Make sure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the batteries match the markings inside the compartment.
