Keeping your PowerPac IF7850 Evaporative Air Cooler clean is key to its efficient operation and longevity. Here's how to do it effectively: First, power off the unit using the control panel button or the remote and unplug it, ensuring your hands are dry. Allow the air cooler to cool down completely. For the exterior, wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasive materials. Never pour water directly onto the unit; keep the control panel dry. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the air inlet. To clean the water tank, pull it out, and then remove the drain valve to empty the water. Take out the water pump, clean the tank with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then replace the pump and valve. Remove the back shutter, dust filter, and cooling pad. Rinse the dust filters, cooling pads, and shutters under running water and allow them to air dry completely before reassembling. Regularly cleaning your IF7850 will help it perform optimally and prevent issues caused by accumulated dirt and debris.
