To securely install your Slackers Build-a-Branch swing hanger, follow these steps:

1. Tree Selection: Choose a healthy tree with a trunk diameter between 12 and 24 inches. Ensure the tree is alive, sturdy, and free of disease or damage.
2. Gather Tools: You'll need a 10-foot ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Height and Marking: Measure and mark 43 inches down from your desired swing height. The swing's bottom should be between 6 and 9 feet from the ground.
4. Top Tree Pad Installation: Position the top tree pad at the top mark. You can optionally secure it with nails.
5. Top Strap Securement: Thread the 7-foot ratchet strap through the top tree pad and around the tree. Make sure the black printed line faces outward. Position the ratchet at the back of the tree and tighten the strap securely. Slide the ratchet cover on.
6. Cross Strap Attachment: Connect the 2-inch cross strap to the front of the left and right tree brackets. Position the cross strap slightly forward of the center point on each side of the tree. The strap should be approximately 4 inches shorter than the tree's diameter.
7. Support Strap Weaving: Feed the 2-inch top support strap through the Build-a-Branch opening, with the SLACKERS logo up and the black printed line down. Secure the strap below the buckle.
