Materials You'll Need:
- Citric acid or white vinegar
- Measuring cup
- Water
Descaling Steps:
Using Citric Acid:
- Dissolve one 10g packet of citric acid in 150 ml of water.
- Pour the citric acid solution into the water storage tank of the sterilizer base.
- Press the "Power" button, followed by the "Reheating/Steam" button.
- Let the sterilizer run for 1-2 minutes.
- Turn off the power and allow the solution to sit in the tank for 30 minutes.
- Pour out the solution, rinse the tank thoroughly, and dry it.
Using White Vinegar:
- Dilute 30 ml of white vinegar with 120 ml of cold water.
- Pour the vinegar solution into the water storage tank of the base.
- Press the "Power" button, then the "Reheating/Steam" button.
- Let the sterilizer run for 1-2 minutes.
- Turn off the power and let the solution sit in the tank for 30 minutes.
- Pour out the solution, rinse the tank thoroughly, and dry it.
Cleaning the Air Filter:
The air filter, located at the bottom of the base, can also be cleaned. Remove the filter, clean it, and then reinstall it on the base with the silver side facing outwards.
