Installing your Moultrie Ranch Series Auger Feeder Kit is straightforward. Here's a step-by-step guide to get you started: First, assemble the auger feeder kit. Begin by removing all hardware from its packaging. Next, install three M6 bolts with washers through the mounting bolt holes located on the bottom of the feeder hopper. Then, remove the rubber grommet found at the bottom of the hopper cone and remove the access door on the right side of the auger kit. Carefully lift the auger kit up to the hopper, ensuring the mounting hardware goes through the three mounting holes on top of the auger kit. Secure the auger kit in place using flat washers and hex nuts for each bolt. Reinstall the access door and secure it. Second, install the feed chute and battery. Position the feed chute mounting flanges over the square outlet on the bottom of the auger kit. Secure the feed chute using bolts and nuts, then set and tighten the angle to lock it. Install a Moultrie 12V 7ah Rechargeable Battery by connecting the red cable to the positive terminal and the black cable to the negative terminal. Place the battery inside its compartment, making sure the terminals don't touch the sides of the auger kit. Lastly, configure and test your feeder. Use the programming buttons on the feeder to set the current time, day, estimated feed remaining, feed time, days of the week, run duration, and motor speed.
