Installing your Aidapt President Grab Rails safely and securely is crucial. Here's how to install them on different substrates, based on the provided guidelines: First, assess the substrate. The Aidapt President Grab Rails are designed for use on sound substrates such as brick, block, timber, or concrete. Always avoid drilling into pre-stressed concrete. Select the appropriate fixings for the substrate. For brick and block, use fixings with a minimum length of 50mm and size 10, along with suitable rawl plugs and screws. Stainless steel screws are recommended to prevent rust. If installing on plasterboard, locate the studs and use a timber plate (minimum 40mm x 150mm) spanning the studs. Secure the plate to the studs, then attach the grab rail to the timber plate. Never install the grab rails directly onto plasterboard, MDF, chipboard, or other composite materials. Finally, use all the provided mounting holes on the Aidapt President Grab Rail for a secure installation. Following these steps will help ensure a safe and reliable installation of your Aidapt President Grab Rails.
