Cooking rice in your Aigostar 300005KHM Food Steamer is simple. Here's how:
Preparation: First, ensure all removable parts of the steamer, including the water tank, are thoroughly washed with soap and water, rinsed, and dried. Place the base unit on a stable surface, ensuring the turbo ring is correctly positioned around the heating element.
Adding Water: Pour fresh water directly into the water tank up to the maximum level indicated. The dry-boiling protection feature will automatically shut off the power if the water runs out, ensuring safety.
Setting Up for Rice: Place the rice bowl inside the upper steam bowl. It's important not to overfill the rice bowl; limit the amount of rice to no more than half full to prevent spillage. Add water to the rice bowl, keeping in mind that the rice will absorb some of it during cooking.
Starting the Cooking Process: Plug in the Aigostar appliance and set the timer. For rice, a cooking time of 15-20 minutes is typically recommended, but this can vary based on the type and quantity of rice. While cooking, monitor the water level using the exterior water level indicator. If needed, add more water to the tank.
Completion and Serving: Once the cooking cycle is complete, the steamer will automatically switch off, the timer will beep, and the indicator light will turn off. Carefully remove the lid, take out the rice bowl, and place it on a plate. Unplug the Aigostar Food Steamer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
