Connecting your Sony BDP-S3700 Blu-ray player to your TV and network is straightforward. First, use a high-speed HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT port on the Sony BDP-S3700 to an HDMI input on your television. If you're using an AV amplifier or receiver, you can connect the player to it using either a digital coaxial cable or an HDMI cable. For digital coaxial connection, link the DIGITAL OUT (COAXIAL) port on the player to the corresponding input on your AV amplifier or receiver. For network connectivity, choose either a wired or wireless setup. For a wired connection, plug one end of a LAN cable into the LAN (100) terminal on the Sony BDP-S3700 and the other end into your router or modem. For a wireless connection, ensure your player is within range of your Wi-Fi network and navigate the player's settings menu to select and connect to your Wi-Fi network. Next, connect the supplied AC adapter to the DC IN port on the player and plug it into a power outlet. Finally, turn on your TV and select the HDMI input corresponding to the one you connected the player to. Power on the Sony BDP-S3700 using either the power button on the player or the remote. You should then see the player's home screen on your TV. Follow any on-screen instructions for initial setup to start enjoying your content.
