Connecting your QSC K8.2 loudspeaker to your audio setup is straightforward. Here's how:
- Identify the Inputs: On the back of the K8.2, you'll find these input options: two combination XLR/1/4" phone jack inputs (labeled A and B), and one 1/8" TRS jack input (labeled C).
- Choose Your Connection: Inputs A and B work with both microphone-level and line-level signals, perfect for most mixers. Input C is designed for line-level stereo input, ideal for devices like smartphones or laptops.
- Inputs A & B Connection: Use either an XLR cable or a 1/4" TRS cable to connect the output of your mixer or audio source to Input A or B on the K8.2. Ensure you match the left and right channels correctly for stereo sound.
- Input C Connection: Use a 1/8" TRS cable (often called a 'stereo mini-jack' cable) to connect the output of your audio source to the Input C jack.
