Key On Check:
- Turn the ignition key to the "Run" position. Confirm all five LEDs on the module illuminate for approximately two seconds.
- Verify the "Park," "Park Brake," and "Shift Lock" LEDs remain illuminated.
- Attempt to deploy the lift with the lift door closed. Then, open the lift door and attempt to deploy the lift again.
- With the lift door open, the park brake engaged, and the transmission in park, confirm all five LEDs are illuminated. Attempt to deploy the lift and then stow it.
- Release the park brake with the lift door open. Verify the "Park Brake" and "Vehicle Secure" LEDs turn off. Attempt to deploy the lift again.
- Test shifting out of park with various lift door and park brake settings.
Key Off Check:
Repeat the steps above, but with the ignition key off. Ensure both a discrete park brake and lift door input are connected for this test.
Lift Interlock Diagnostic Mode Testing:
- Enter Diagnostic Mode by placing the transmission in park and turning the ignition to the run position. Press the red "Test" button on the module.
- The LED indicators will display the status of shift lock, transmission, park brake, lift door, and vehicle secure.
- Exit Diagnostic Mode by turning the key off.
System Operation:
