To configure the module address for your Aspar RS485 8 Analogue Universal Inputs Module, you can use two methods. The primary method involves the DIP switches located directly on the module. These switches allow you to set addresses ranging from 0 to 31. The second method, which is useful for addresses outside this range, utilizes the RS485 or USB communication interfaces. Here's how to set the address using the switches:
For example, to set an address of 3, activate switches 1 and 2. After making changes with the switches, it's recommended to power cycle the module for the new address to take effect. If you require an address between 128 and 255, please consult the module's manual, especially the "Setting Module Address in RS485 Modbus Network" section, to utilize the RS485 or USB communication options.
