To configure the HNET network address for your NIC-C card, please follow these steps: Begin by locating the three rotary dial switches situated at the bottom of the NIC-C card's front panel. These switches are labeled S5, S6, and S7 and are essential for setting the three-digit HNET network address. Ensure the address you set on the NIC-C card corresponds to the address configured within your NCCNT WAN system. Use the rotary dials to select the desired address. For instance, if the intended address is 123, set the 'HUNDREDS' dial to '1', the 'TENS' dial to '2', and the 'ONES' dial to '3'. Note that the acceptable range for the address is between 001 and 251, and leading zeros are required. Avoid setting an address higher than 251 to prevent potential network conflicts. Properly setting the network address using these switches will ensure your NIC-C card functions correctly within your network, facilitating effective communication with other devices.
