Configuring the discharge settings on your HiTEC AD350 Discharger is straightforward. First, connect the power supply to the RDX2 1000 Charger and the AD350 Discharger to the RDX2 1000 Charger. Next, connect your RC to Port A or via the Parallel connection. On the main menu screen, select the DISCHARGE function. In the CONDITION setting, set the voltage cut-off, and in the CURRENT setting, adjust the amperage based on your battery's specifications. If you intend to cycle the battery, select either Balance or Parallel charging, set the Cycle to 1 or more, and then choose your desired Charge and Discharge Amperage settings (up to 20A in Balance mode, and up to 35A in Parallel mode). The Cycle function will first discharge the battery and then charge it, which can be useful for reducing internal resistance and boosting power output, particularly in applications like Stock Racing. Remember to exercise caution when using high amperage charging and discharging, as it might potentially shorten the overall lifespan of your battery. By following these steps and correctly adjusting the voltage cut-off and amperage, you can safely and efficiently discharge your RC batteries using the HiTEC AD350 Discharger.
