
To manually configure your Grandstream GRP260X IP for use with RingCentral MVP, follow these steps: First, ensure your Grandstream GRP260X is unlocked and reset to factory defaults. If the phone was previously used with another provider, contact them to unlock it. Then, perform a factory reset to clear any existing configurations. Next, within your RingCentral MVP account, add your GRP260X device. Log in to your RingCentral MVP portal, navigate to the "Phones & Devices" section, click "Add Device," and select "Other Phone (BYOD)." Enter your phone's MAC address and assign it to a user. Review the settings and complete the device addition. After adding the device, obtain the necessary SIP settings from RingCentral MVP. Still within the RingCentral MVP portal, locate your device and click "Edit." Select the option to set up manually using SIP, and carefully note the SIP settings provided. Now, you will configure the GRP260X through its web interface. Power on your GRP260X and determine its IP address. Enter the IP address into a web browser and log in to the phone's web interface using the credentials displayed on the phone's LCD screen. Input the SIP settings obtained from RingCentral MVP and save the configuration within the phone's web interface. Within the GRP260X web interface, navigate to "Accounts > Account 1" to configure account settings. Here, you'll enter General Settings such as SIP Server, SIP User ID, and other relevant details. Further configure SIP Settings, Codec Settings, and Feature Codes as required. Save and apply these settings. After configuring, verify the account registration status. Go to "Status > Account Status" to check if the phone has successfully registered with RingCentral MVP. Finally, consider a firmware upgrade. Within your RingCentral MVP portal, locate your device. If a firmware upgrade is available, upload the firmware file and reboot the device to complete the process. Following these steps will enable you to manually provision your Grandstream GRP260X IP phone for use with RingCentral MVP.
