Keeping your Ninja CM401 Specialty Coffee Maker in top condition is easy with regular cleaning and descaling. This ensures optimal performance and the best-tasting coffee. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Begin by emptying the water reservoir and removing the filter holder from the brew basket.
2. If you're using a paper filter, discard it. If using the permanent filter, wash it thoroughly with warm, soapy water or place it on the top rack of your dishwasher.
3. Clean the frother whisk after each use. You can hand-wash it or put it on the top rack of the dishwasher.
4. Wash the carafe and brew-through lid with warm, soapy water. Use a bottle brush or a cloth to clean the inside of the carafe. Avoid using a wire brush.
