Adjusting the grind size on your Eureka Mignon Libra is straightforward. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Grind Size Adjustment: Locate the grinding adjustment on the grinder (likely a dial or knob). Turn this adjustment clockwise to achieve a finer grind, which is suitable for espresso. Conversely, turn it counter-clockwise for a coarser grind, ideal for methods like French press or pour-over. Make small adjustments, grinding a small amount of coffee after each adjustment to test the results. Avoid making large changes at once.
Important Note: If you rotate the grind adjustment by a full turn while the motor is off, the machine might stop. So, make small adjustments to prevent this.
Filter-Holder Fork Adjustment: If needed, adjust the filter-holder fork. Loosen the fork clamping mechanism and move the fork up or down to fit your filter-holder. Once positioned correctly, tighten the clamping mechanism.
Filter Holder Fork Recalibration: To recalibrate the filter holder fork:
Maintenance Tips: To help keep your Eureka Mignon Libra operating correctly, avoid grinding more than 160g of coffee per activation. Replace the grinders after approximately every 300kg of coffee ground. Maintenance on the grinders should only be carried out by authorized personnel.
