Attaching the Wi-Fi/ZigBee antenna to your inverter correctly is crucial for optimal performance. Follow these steps for a secure and effective connection:
- Preparation: After mounting the inverter, unpack the antenna clip and untie any cable bindings.
- Safety First: Switch OFF the inverter's main ON/OFF switch, the inverter safety switch (if present), and the AC breaker connected to the inverter.
- Confirm Power Down: Double-check that AC power to the inverter is OFF. You can do this by turning OFF the circuit breakers in your distribution panel and waiting five minutes for the capacitors to discharge.
- Clip Insertion: Insert the clip from underneath the inverter, positioning it between the bracket and the back of the inverter unit.
- Cable Routing: Carefully guide the antenna cable upwards along the side fins of the inverter. Thread both the clip and the RF cable from the bottom, between the bracket and the inverter's rear.
- Final Attachment: Secure the clip vertically to the top of the inverter. You can attach it to the heat sink fins or the side of the inverter.
- Power Up: Turn the inverter's ON/OFF switch back ON, along with the inverter safety switch (if applicable), and the AC breaker connected to the inverter.
By following these steps, you'll ensure your Wi-Fi/ZigBee antenna is properly connected to your inverter, enabling reliable communication and monitoring capabilities.
