Adjusting the coaxial cable length of your Bocci 100.1 pendant light is a straightforward process that allows you to customize the fixture's drop. Here's how to do it: First, carefully uncoil the braided coaxial cable, taking care to avoid any kinks. Next, decide on the final drop length you want for your pendant. Then, thread the coaxial cable through the canopy. Use a 2mm Allen key to loosen the setscrew located inside the canopy. Gently feed the cable through the canopy until you reach your chosen drop length. Once the cable is at the correct length, tighten the setscrew with the Allen key to secure the cable. Give the cable a gentle tug to confirm it is held firmly in place; avoid over-tightening. Finally, make sure the strain relief, the black plastic collar around the coaxial cable, is positioned correctly with its single slot opening at a 90-degree angle to the setscrew chamber. This positioning is essential to prevent any contact between the setscrew and the cable, which could potentially cause an electrical short. Following these steps ensures your Bocci 100.1 pendant light is installed correctly with your preferred drop length.
