Installing the EVGA 750GQ power supply in your computer involves a few straightforward steps. First, remove the power supply from its packaging. For initial testing, especially with water cooling setups, use the included PSU testing tool, connecting the 24-Pin cable to the PSU and the testing tool. Plug the ATX power cable into an outlet or surge protector and turn the power switch to ON. Next, secure the power supply within your computer case using the screws provided. Generally, position the fan downwards, unless your case design requires otherwise, such as when the PSU is at the bottom without ventilation. Then, connect the 24-Pin ATX cable to both the power supply and the motherboard. Follow this by connecting the 4+4-Pin EPS12V cable to the motherboard. If your motherboard has additional CPU power connectors, connect the second 4+4-Pin EPS12V cable. Proceed by connecting the 6/6+2-Pin PCI-E cables to your graphics card(s), ensuring you do not insert an 8-Pin cable into a 6-Pin connector without removing the extra two pins. Afterward, connect SATA power cables to your data and optical drives. Use the peripheral "Molex" 4-Pin connectors for fans, pumps, and other legacy devices. Finally, connect the AC power cord to the power supply and the wall. Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure, and then switch the power supply's ON switch to the ON position. If you have any difficulties, EVGA's technical support is available to assist.
