Checking the level on your PIXAPRO ST-IV+ TTL Wireless Flash Trigger is straightforward. The battery status is displayed on the device's LCD panel. Here's a breakdown of what the indicators mean: Three grids represent a full battery, two grids indicate a mid-level charge, and one grid signifies a low battery level. A blank grid suggests the battery is running low and needs replacement. If the battery icon is blinking, the battery level is critically low (around 2.5V), and you should replace the batteries immediately to prevent flash malfunctions, particularly when shooting at longer distances. Please note that these indicators are calibrated for AA alkaline batteries. If using Ni-MH batteries, the voltage characteristics differ, so the battery level readings might not be as accurate. It's recommended to monitor your device's performance closely when using Ni-MH batteries.
