Connecting your Epson XP-2205 Home Printer to your wireless network is simple. Follow these steps for a successful setup:
- Before you begin, make sure your Wi-Fi network is up and running. Have your network name (SSID) and password ready.
- Turn on your Epson XP-2205 printer and press the Home button on the printer's control panel.
- Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the Wi-Fi Setup option and press the OK button to select it.
- Choose the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard and press OK.
- The printer will now scan for available networks. Select your network from the list and press OK.
- When prompted, use the on-screen keyboard to enter your network password. Use the arrow buttons to move around and press the OK button to select each character.
- After entering your password, press OK to confirm.
- The printer will try to connect to your wireless network; this might take a few minutes. A solid Wi-Fi icon on the printer's screen indicates a successful connection.
- To check your connection, you can print a network status sheet. Go to Setup, then Network Settings, and choose Print Network Status Sheet. Press OK to print it.
- The network status sheet gives you information about your printer's network status, including the IP address and signal strength.
