To ensure your Hilti C 4-12-50 Compact Charger is functioning properly, observe the indicator lights on both the charger and the battery. On the charger itself, LED 1 provides the following information: a solid green light indicates the charger is ready for use. A flashing red light suggests the battery is either too hot or too cold for charging. LED 2 provides further status: If this LED is off, there's no AC power, or the charger may be faulty. A flashing green light means the battery is currently charging, while a solid green indicates a fully charged battery. The Li-ion battery's state of charge display offers additional insight: all 4 LEDs lit show a 100% charge. 3 LEDs lit, with one flashing, means the charge is between 75% and 100%. 2 LEDs lit, with one flashing, indicates a charge between 50% and 75%. 1 LED lit, with one flashing, means the charge is between 25% and 50%, and finally, 1 flashing LED signals a charge of less than 25%. By monitoring these indicators, you can easily determine your Hilti charger and battery's status. For any persistent issues, consult your Hilti C 4-12-50 Compact Battery Charger's manual or contact Hilti customer service for support.
