The Breeze's automatic headlights may turn on during the day. When the light dims while driving, the headlights will automatically turn on, and they will turn off when the light brightens. How automatic headlights work: Sensors such as photoresistors in the automatic headlight system (installed behind the rearview mirror, etc.) send electronic signals to the ECU. The ECU then determines whether to turn the headlights on or off or switch between high and low beams based on the external environment. When driving in suddenly dim conditions, the headlights will automatically turn on, and they will turn off when the light is sufficient. During nighttime encounters with other vehicles, the system will also automatically switch between high and low beams. Additionally, the automatic headlights can adjust between high and low beams based on the vehicle's speed: high beams activate when the speed exceeds 40 km/h, and low beams activate when the speed drops below 40 km/h. How to use automatic headlights: Turn the combination light switch to the AUTO position to activate the automatic headlight function. The headlights will automatically turn on when driving at night or entering a tunnel. After setting the switch to AUTO, you can test the system by covering the sunlight sensor with your hand and then releasing it after a short while to see if the headlights respond. This helps determine whether the automatic headlight system is functioning properly or if any components are damaged.
